CHA Lab and Pathology

The CHA lab provides everything from from blood and urine tests to special tissue evaluation. We are proudly certified by the College of American Pathology (CAP).

If you need a lab test, please make sure to get a request for testing (order) from your healthcare provider.
Tests cannot be performed without orders.

For tests ordered by your CHA primary care provider:

Please contact your regular primary care center to get an appointment.  

* Lab tests are available at all CHA care centers.

For tests ordered by your CHA OB/GYN or specialist:

Please call 617-665-2522 to make an appointment.

* Patients from outside CHA should contact their regular doctor to find a testing site.

Your test results

Your lab test will be analyzed using state-of-the-art instruments and equipment. Results will be reviewed by medical doctors (Pathologists) with years of experience interpreting and diagnosing a broad range of conditions.

Your results will be released as soon as possible. If you have a CHA provider and use MyChart, you may be able to get results faster. Most lab results are released to your MyCHArt account about 72 hours after results are final. Radiology results are not available on MyCHArt.
