Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC)
If you are a CHA patient and want to help CHA do better, the PFAC is a perfect place to volunteer. PFAC members share insight, advice and input on all aspects of CHA. The purpose of the council is to provide a structure to hear from patients about their experiences of care, empowering patients to improve the organization. The group meets monthly at via Google Meet. Members are sometimes asked to participate in questionnaires and other projects outside of the meetings. Your voice matters to CHA.

Volunteer Health Advisors (VHAs)
If you are interested in helping to improve the health of communities in this area, the VHA program is a great way to make a difference. VHAs act as a bridge between the community and CHA. They are respected community health workers who have a close understanding of the community they serve. The Volunteer Health Advisor (VHA) program trains and supports volunteers to provide culturally and linguistically appropriate community education for underserved and hard-to-reach populations. This work leads to better access to care and better health, helping to reduce disparities in health care and health outcomes in under-served communities.
