The Fellowship in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry at Cambridge Health Alliance and Harvard Medical School is an ACGME-accredited 1 year training program for a PGY5 psychiatrist.
The fellowship provides training in psychiatric consultation in two community hospitals and training in collaborative care programs in primary care centers. In collaborative care, fellows will have exposure to population based mental health care by providing both direct patient care and indirect patient care through population based mental health care by providing both direct patient care and indirect patient care through case reviews with behavioral care managers using a mental health registry. Additional training in women's mental health is also available. Faculty with expertise in health services research will mentor fellows in the development of an academic project.
Our program takes advantage of Cambridge Health Alliance's unique blend of community and academic resources. Clinical fellows receive appointments to Cambridge Health Alliance and Harvard Medical School.
